Offering more than one `Umrah in the same year

Fatwa no. 7387 What is the ruling on performing `Umrah (lesser pilgrimage) several times during the same year?


A: It is permissible to do this, for the Prophet (peace be upon him) stated, " The performance of `Umrah is an expiation for the sins committed between it and the previous one. And the reward of Hajj Mabrur (the one accepted by Allah) is nothing except Jannah (Paradise)." (Agreed upon by Al-Bukhari and Muslim) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
